Dr. Fleming delivered the inaugural keynote lecture in the "How Did We Get Here?" series organized by the Missouri Historical Society's African American History Initiative.

Dr. Fleming delivered her "Revealing White Supremacy" keynote for a conference organized by the Berkeley Center for Right-Wing Studies and the Institute for Research on Male Supremacism.​

Dr. Fleming discussed the philosophical question and moral dilemmas of "Being Seen to Be Good" in conversation with Dr. Kwame Anthony Appiah (New York University) and David Goodhardt (Prospect Magazine) for the HOW THE LIGHT GETS IN, the world's largest festival of music and ideas.
